The site’s software

TheAlternateHistoryReview.com site has been developed in WordPress. Although originally intended to be up and running by Christmas 2014 it wasn’t until February 2015 that  I was finally able to identify a plugin that would give me what I felt I needed – that plugin was Creative Whim’s Ultimate Book Blogger. This plugin, coupled with the fully responsive Twenty-Twelve theme; a new, lighter ‘header image’; and some CSS code from Voodoo Press that allowed me to  automatically add borders around my widgets has finally brought the site closer to what it will finally look like.

In addition the first three reviews were finally completed on the 23rd of February so there was finally something for people to read.

About me

I am a fan of alternate-history and this site has been created as a homage to all the great, and not-so-great books of the genre that I have read over the past couple of decades.

I am presently the Principal of Hague Publishing, and am in the process of marketing my own alternate-history trilogy to other publishers. If you are interested in my own writing feel free to check out my personal website.
